All foster animals remain the property of Furry Rescue Foundation. The foster may not sell, rehome, or transfer the animal. Adoption decisions are made solely by the rescue.
2. Care and Welfare Requirements
The foster agrees to provide safe, species‑appropriate housing, daily care, enrichment, and supervision. No physical punishment or unsafe environments are permitted.
3. Medical Care and Emergencies
The rescue covers pre‑approved veterinary care. The foster must contact the rescue before non‑emergency vet visits and report emergencies immediately.
4. Transportation
The foster agrees to transport the animal to vet appointments, adoption events, and meet‑and‑greets unless other arrangements are made.
5. Communication and Updates
Weekly photos/videos are required. Behavioral changes, concerns, or incidents must be reported promptly.
6. Safety and Incident Reporting
The foster must immediately report bites, escapes, illness, injury, or safety hazards.
7. Household Requirements
All household members must agree to fostering. The foster must notify the rescue of major changes such as moving or new pets.
8. Supplies and Support
Rescue‑provided supplies remain the property of the rescue and must be returned.
9. Adoption and Return Policies
The foster may apply to adopt but must follow the adoption process. The foster agrees to return the animal upon request.
10. Liability
The rescue is not liable for injuries or property damage. The foster assumes responsibility for supervising the animal.
