Meet Zartan… the mixed Siberian Husky Puppy!

Zartan is everything people love about young Huskies — bright, social, expressive, and full of life. He’s a happy, affectionate puppy who bonds quickly with his people and thrives on interaction. He loves exploring, learning, and being part of the action.

He has a classic Husky sense of humor: playful, talkative, and always ready to make you laugh. Despite his rough start, he is incredibly resilient and eager to trust.

Temperament & Training

Zartan is still very much a puppy and is learning the world with curiosity and enthusiasm. Current training notes:

• Doing well with crate training

• Learning house manners and improving quickly with routine

• Walks on leash but still has typical Husky puppy pulling — responds well to structure

• Food‑motivated and highly trainable

• Social with other dogs; enjoys play and would thrive with a compatible dog friend

• Not tested with cats

  He will do best with an adopter committed to continued training, consistency, and positive reinforcement. Huskies are intelligent working dogs — Zartan needs mental stimulation, exercise, and a family who understands the breed’s needs.

Health & Medical

• Recently rescued from the Downey Shelter euth list

• Up‑to‑date on age‑appropriate vaccines

• Microchipped

• Neutered

• Healthy overall with no known chronic conditions

As with all Huskies, adopters should be prepared for:

• Seasonal shedding

• Regular grooming

• Sensitivity to heat — he must be kept cool and never over‑exerted in warm weather
